Let’s never forget that in all of our human attempts to find God or to solve our problems, we never have made it on our own. Let’s remember that every time we rely on our human experience, our own wisdom, or the advice of others, we come up short.

Let’s embrace Jesus, who saves us from sins through what He did on the cross for us – not by what we attempted to do for Him. And let’s invite Him into our situation to rescue us from whatever hole we find ourselves in. Only He can rescue us and get us out of holes that either we dug for ourselves or that we fell into unaware.
